JEE and NEET coaching in Indore for students from Ujjain

Quick answer. Students from Ujjain can join Pramana Institute at Geeta Bhawan Square, Indore, for JEE and NEET coaching with at most 40 per batch. Hostel with meals in Indore costs about Rs 6,500 to 15,000 a month, and the free Prashast scholarship test can be taken online from home in Ujjain.

By Jitendra Baghel, Admissions Counsellor at Pramana Institute

Ujjain is about 55 km from Indore, roughly an hour to an hour and a half by road or train. That makes it one of the easiest cities to study from: some students travel daily, while most stay in Indore during the week and go home on weekends.

  • Daily travel: possible, but 2–3 hours a day on the road cuts into study time. We suggest it only for Class 11 students in the first months, or for test-series-only students.
  • Weekday hostel or PG: the most common choice. Students leave Ujjain on Sunday evening or Monday morning and return on Saturday.
  • Before deciding: take the free Prashast test online from Ujjain, then visit us for counselling on a weekend.

What students from Ujjain get at Pramana

  • Batches capped at 40 students, taught by faculty including IIT graduates with 14–25 years of experience
  • Weekly tests and a 15-minute one-on-one with a mentor every week
  • A progress report for parents every fortnight, shared by phone for families outside Indore
  • Fees: ₹1,00,000 + GST per year (Class 11–12); ₹1,20,000 + GST for the one-year Dropper Program
  • Merit scholarships of 25% to 100% tuition through the free online Prashast test
